Re: finally got my Heavy Half decals

Like others have said you spent the time and money why not sell them on ebay and get your money back in time.Or sell the files and colors to a vendor on here and let them make them.

Theres a reserve

I did this auction as a test run...kinda see if there's interest outside of here, plus gauges what people are willing to pay...so far at $6.50 doesnt look like much interest lol

Like I said though...made these for myself so Im happy either way

Re: finally got my Heavy Half decals

Oh yeah, I guess there is...I didn't notice.

Well, hey...as a fellow eBayer, good luck with the sale and I hope you make some money. I'm gonna "watch" this one just out of curiosity.

Re: finally got my Heavy Half decals

Doesn't GM own the rights to this design, so you would have to get their permission to even have a sign shop re-produce the decals, let alone resell them?

Re: finally got my Heavy Half decals

GM cranks up to make 5,000-50,000 of a part not 500. My guess is there are prolly only a few hundred folks that'd be interested. More than enough for a little guy moving 10-50 over a couple years but not enough to make GM interested.

Re: finally got my Heavy Half decals

Can you post dimensions? If I can I want to try and get some made myself. Especially if I can get the ones on eBay. Getting a run going would be fun

supposely I have the last 2 sets that was in the us search dealerships across the US through other dealerships if theres more out there they're not in a system to search for even outside of GM.

So, I thought about taking one set to a decal shop and see if they can duplicate it so far no shop around me can do it 100% they can't get the turn down right and how the stripe narrow on the front fender.

I have about $750 in is set! it was hard to do but when I repaint the truck etc I want it right.
So, who did these decals for you? I may have a stripe set done.

Re: finally got my Heavy Half decals

The grey area between the darker grey and the black, is that a bubble in the masking from them being layered or an entirely different grey vinyl?

Also the originals seems to be flat with chrome over the top?

Nope, the new decals have a protective piece on top that you peel off, these are perfect EXACT replicas right down to the 1/32 radius on outer edge where it shapes inward at cutouts

Wouldn't do you any good as I own the artwork and they cannot reproduce, that was part of my deal.
