Re: Frame cut
I sure will. Getting everything together that I need. I think my plan is to fix where is was cut weld it all solid and weld in a plate in the inside of the frame where they cut. Put in the porterbuilt notch not the super notch just the small one. And box in the other side of the frame for extra support. Then put the factroy rear crossmember back. I will post pictures as i go.

Re: Frame cut
OK well here I go. I know its been a while but finally at it. this is the start. So the blocks is what was in it. Funny what some people will be fore more drop. And the last one is what they uses in place of the original cross member. I will be putting the original style back in. I will also be adding a c-notch and 5" lowering springs. Of course once if fix what is already there.

Re: Frame cut
Bottom left was before the drop spindles but, got the front lowered also. 7" in the rear. 5 in drop springs 2" lowering blocks in rear and 2.5" drop spindles and 2" drop springs (I think front springs were in there when I bought the truck).

Re: Frame cut
Nice job. Off topic, I am typically not a big fan of hood scoops/cowl hoods on this era trucks but yours looks sweet.
