Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
Awesome folks! Thank you for the positive feedback. I have to agree that this option is long overdue. I know I promised a picture today....I attempted another video of the finished install....I have shelved the video due to technical issues(and it was actually raining for test!)
I will follow soon with a video of the completed install. I have decided to go with one install with the adjustment knob still built into the box(not a remotely located knob)Back to the bench for now but stay tuned, today's setback was minor at best. Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
I'm not only interested in one for my truck. I'm interested in becoming a dealer for this great idea. When will you start setting up your dealer network? We could call it Vintamittent Wipers and sell them to all old car owners. Cha Ching
Just saying, who wouldn't want this. Again, great idea. I think about it every time it rains lightly! I can deal with no O/D,no F/I,no P/W,no anti-lock brakes,a big steering wheel, etc, but I gotta have me some intermittent wipers! I wear my wiper knob out...on one swipe, off till I can see too good,on one swipe, off till I can't see too good...It makes it difficult to drink a beer while talking on my cell phone and shift gears

Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
I have been using a HELLA wiper delay for several months. Thanks to member "Putter", I was able to wire this up easily. I installed the unit in my new gauge cluster with minimal work. Side note : I also used LEDs for much improved lighting.

Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
I`m a big fan of having delay wipers, I also like the idea of no cutting of the original harness. About $50 shipped i think you will do well, I`d take 2 and have a buddy that would probably also take 2.

Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
Please, please, please...check out the videos I posted on this handy device. I have just ordered parts to put ten (10) together. Judging by the interest generated by this device, I anticipate them selling out fast. Once I have the 10 built I will advertise them here or on a similar post. I hope to have them ready to ship by early June. They will come with some installation instructions too, I've never written instructions like this before but they will be (hopefully)crystal clear. Thanks again for all the positive feedback!

Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
I think it would be proper, once the 10 are made . That you PM those that posted here saying they are interested and give them 1st chance. to get one.
Thanks Ken |

Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
I have no problem offering them as
above, however......sales by PM are prohibited. Prohibited by forum sales guidelines. I propose to "form a line" according to who expressed interest first. Maybe a moderator can chime in here? |

Re: Mock up working-Gauging Interest WIPER DELAY!
"I'll take it!" seems to be the magic phrase, so let me be the first - I'll take it! As soon as you are ready to ship, of course...
