How important is the tilt adjust when driving one of these things? I'm also wondering how difficult the console is to drop in, that's one of my major reasons for wanting to swap the bench out.

Well on long drives , I will change the tilt, just for comfort, I find tilting better.
Console I understand bolts right up.
I think it has dimples for proper location too.

i recently put the same burb seats and console in my 78. I welded the perches and fabricated new anchors. I converted to a black interior. you can find the old post .
