Can't agree with your little reverse read sign there. It is an ability I have used as a tool maker very successfully to add drill dimensions, cut lines and instructions directly to composite parts both with and without peel ply outer layers. This was done with a engraving pencil in reverse on both flat plate molds and multi-section female molds.

Of course there was that day at the bank when I handed the teller a check written in reverse....

Re: Seriously classic industries? C'mon!

No need for face punching! The orientation of the "L" looks wrong until you see it on 50bombs truck. After all you just spent coin buying new emblems and thought the worst when you saw it. Most of us have had a bad buying experience and it is easy to go off the" deep end". I'am glad it was you and not me this time. Just remember you [and us!]
will think of this every time we see the front of a 67. enjoy the story!

Re: Seriously classic industries? C'mon!

If it was made overseas I think that's an "R" but was made using phonics.

I thought this was about the texture on the face. Is that how Chevys were? Honestly,I don't recall,it's been so long since I had a 67/68 Chevy. I just found two baggies with 67/68 Chevy hood letters yesterday and one had smooth letters and the other had the texture. I was thinking about starting a thread to ask about that.

Too funny. I have suffered from "inverted cranial rectumitis" from time to time as well. "they" tell me it goes along with learning...

Re: Seriously classic industries? C'mon!

The worst and funniest part of it all was that I figured it out while talking to classic industries on the phone. I did the phone equivalent to the walk of shame. Maybe I need to read more books
