Re: Who has pics of survivor Blazers?
Nice blazers guys. I got mine from a junkyard. So it's a survivor. Not perfect by any means as it was gutted. But at least it didn't get scrapped.i have repaired it and done a lot of body work. Finding interior pieces has been the hardest and most expensive to find.

Early mid-life crisis. This is what I drove in HS. Also a survivor (pic from '96). It was a Jimmy 4spd manual. Would love that combo again, but I've given up hope. Unfortunately it slipped down a creek embankment 9 months later after that photo and ended upside down with all the passenger panels messed up and a severely damaged window frame. 4 folks in the ride at the time...no one had a scratch due to roll bar..which will be the first thing I install. Torn on whether to pain right away. Its original paint but worn thin everywhere...particularly the hood. Also torn on brushguard, but think I'm going to leave it. The only thing I may do is remove extra two gas tanks taking up room behind both wheel wells...only do that if I repaint. Pic of new rig...still not in my possession...can't come soon enough. This is my first post on the forum. I've spent many of hours lurking while I search my new ride. This is such a wonderful resource and so many of you have such excellent rides! And to the OP, dig the user name. Never got to see them, but I'm rocking out 5/8/77 at the moment. And to the OP, dig the user name. Never got to see them, but I'm rocking out 5/8/77 at the moment. Re: Who has pics of survivor Blazers?
Very nice pair of K5s and welcome to the site! Please post more pics of the Blazer when it arrives. Looks great as is - I'd just drive it for awhile and get to know it.

Re: Who has pics of survivor Blazers?
Looks pretty good from the one pic. Congrats. Too bad the first one rolled. It looked pretty nice too. I need that roll cage out of it. Can't find a good one anywhere that fits. Nobody wants the headache of building one for me. Could always clear coat the stock paint to preserve the patina. A lot of guys I've seen been doing that lately if the paint is still in decent shape.

Re: Who has pics of survivor Blazers?
Here's my survivor. The only thing not original is the drop and wheels... and the crappy mirrors, which have already been replaced.

Re: Who has pics of survivor Blazers?
Great if that is original and unrestored gringoloco. Looks like she just rolled off the showroom floor.

Re: Who has pics of survivor Blazers?
Here's my survivor. It's a 71 with 74,000 original miles. Original paint and interior. Stock radio, original motor and trans. Winch was installed when it was new. I have the original bumper. No rust.
