Re: HIGH OCTANE 68 C10 Build

Everything looks awesome! Can you give some detail behind some of the pieces? Like why did you put the door strike on the floor part of the jamb? How did you go about attaching the inners to the fenders? Either way..........

Re: HIGH OCTANE 68 C10 Build

Volker put the strikers on the rockers. He has the build bitter sweet on here and Johnny Mohawk is the sheet metal guru. I'm sure he will chime in on this one.

Re: HIGH OCTANE 68 C10 Build

Hey Everyone, Heres a few updates in the truck..

Heres a few picks of the engine bay when we got the truck.
We moved the motor mounts to accommodate the LS1 and also made a trans crossmember.

Re: HIGH OCTANE 68 C10 Build

I know it's a pain, but...

BLACK!!!

I would use a gloss and a flat under the hood and in the bed to show off the beadroll work

Re: HIGH OCTANE 68 C10 Build

Made up a little bracket to hold the computer and a simple plate for the fuse block to bolt up too.

Also finished up the bracket to bolt the shifter to the floor and brackets to bolt the console in also.
