that's not true , the front end of these trucks has plenty of room on the top a frame studs you can shim it out after lowering its not a problem ,,

and as for wheels and tires these are the stock steel wheels 15 x 6 ? I guess and my tires are 235 75 15's all around ,,

Thanks for sharing your info and experience.

I am still like you used to be, on the fence, first about lowering, and then about how (springs or spindles on the front) and how much (to keep a decent ride and the ability to still use as a truck).

I like the look. The white bumper and matching guards look great on your truck!

I would suggest these for the rear shocks. 'No Limits' kit for the rear + they help the handling also by moving them further out on to the axle. My 71 rides great. I bought there shocks to when I ordered the kit.

Truck looks killer with the lower stance!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Wow! I never thought I'd see THAT truck lowered! Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I don't like, I just didn't think you'd ever get away from stock look since its been that way so long!

Man that looks great

Does it sit level? One side looks like it has a rake to it still and the other side look level.

Maybe my monitor is crooked???

Anyway that is one gorgeous truck.

Re: lowered my 67 PICS ,,,

It's beautiful. Keep filling in the details for us. I am thinking about doing the exact drop you did with springs and shocks. But I am looking at the kit from ECE that includes the shock relocation brackets and Adjustable panhard bar.

Been worried about the ride being to harsh or stiff.

The only thing my kit did not have was the shock relocation brackets , I think the ride will be fine after I get a set of those brackets
