Re: Paint the Top White or Not

Both look great, nice truck. I debated it in my head and thought I might go all one color when Im ready for paint just because its less work. But since Im going with white for some other things, I eventually decided on white for the roof. You cant go wrong with that ride, though.

Thanks for the complement! Trouble is the Quality of the white top paint job will probably look a whole lot better than the blue, which will force me to repaint the blue....eventually. Then again it may look as sh!ty as the blue ( close up). It's a 30 footer ya know.

That's another good reason to paint the top. Didn't think of that!

Holy Moly! Not rust... And so it begins-
Just curious though, What color is your interior and do you think painting the top white would have any affect on how you feel about the color of it?
I mean, I was going to paint my top white and get a white interior, then came across a great deal on a black interior.
Truck is going to be blue. Too many colors?

I think your interior all black would look fine with blue exterior.
My interior is predomately blue with Black door panels and carpet. I,m going to paint my kick panels black.

Thanks everyone for your complements!
Next month I'm going to put some new meats on some Rally wheels I refurbished. I painted them white. Hopefully there won't be too much white. Adding a pinstripe could be in the future after I do some paint touch up and wet sanding.

The white top turned out nice. I like it! As dark as the blue is, I think the white rallyes will look good.

That's what I'm hoping! Now ...white letters out or go black wall?
