Re: 67 Panel Project Saga

I was thinking the rear axle could move forward slightly in the shortened panel.

Re: 67 Panel Project Saga

I'm not a fan of the stumpy tail, I like the long and low. In fact, looking at the long blue one, it made me think, how about a chopped roof. Maybe 3"-4"?
Long and lower!
Pshop it, it might be cool, and certainly new.

Re: 67 Panel Project Saga

I put the kabosh on the shortening the rear. After much thought I like it like it is. The pictures of the blue panel convinced me of that.. WES

That just makes me think Blazer. Kinda like it but I prefer the stock length.

That was my first impression, too. Best to just not mess with perfection.

Re: 67 Panel Project Saga

I agree. When projects drag out as long as my panel have you can loose focus and come up with some crazy ideas. That was how the barn door / lift gate conversion happened. WES

Re: 67 Panel Project Saga

Glad you decided not to cut it...the only way to make it look good would have been to cut out some in front of the axle too, and that would be double work.
