Re: Fox Sports 1?!?!

Not at all happy. We just did get the Speed Channel on our local cable, which I have had for years, on Aug. 1st . Seen no reason to go digital but when we got Speed I was really glad to see the addition to our "expanded basic". Now another damn sports channel that shows the same sports crap as everyone else does. I like sports and such but enough is enough. Speed was the only channel I know of that actually gave gearheads some decent shows to watch, and also a few not so decent, but that goes with TV in general. Put me down for:

VERY UNHAPPY

Re: Fox Sports 1?!?!

When speed first came out I was pretty excited about it. It went bad pretty quickly in my eyes. I don't watch Nascar and IMO most of the shows they featured were pretty stupid. So I seldom watched anything there anyway...But for those of you that really dug it, I'm sorry for your loss =(

Don't know if many of you have access to MAVTV but they cover a lot of motorsports. Pretty cool programming.

Re: Fox Sports 1?!?!

Thought NASCAR killed Speed long time ago, it basically died when they stopped showing a lot of the WRC racing, unless they brought it back on in recent years. I cut the cord over three years ago, my cable went from 170 down to 70 bucks for my internet, and I don't waste time watching garbage.

Re: Fox Sports 1?!?!

I'll give them a pass for now. Any station that shows the University of Utah/Utah State game for it's first ever football game can't be all bad

Re: Fox Sports 1?!?!

I haven't had a chance to check out the lineup yet. I hope I can still watch the Australian V8 Supercar racing.

I kind of thought they might be in trouble when NBC Sports outbid them for the rights to F1 Racing. Speed really didn't have any of the main racing series coverage.

I love all types of motorsports so I'm not too happy at this point.

Re: Fox Sports 1?!?!

Not happy.
There was always something automotive related on that the "ball sports" channels would ignore.
I didn't mind another sports channel coming on.....but not at the expense of Speed.
