Re: Project 1968 Custom (Get Shorty)
Making progress! finally done crawling around on the garage floor. The exhaust was a bear! when they sit this low there isn't much room to swing up and around the trailing arms. through the cpp cross member and up and over the trans cross member, phew it was a job. trans lines are in, new one piece shaft is in and the brakes are back up and working. This thing will run again this weekend! front harness and distributer and shes ready to go. I rebuilt this 327 about 5 years ago for a model project that I sold, I cant wait to hear it run.

Re: Project 1968 Custom (Get Shorty)
Out and rollin. I need to change the torque convertor as the one I installed is 2400-2600 and slips too much in the truck and makes it no fun to drive. That's about it though, convertor , rear bumper, couple floor patches, recover seat, weld up inside box cuts etc, etc. It looks pretty much just like I was hoping and I think its time to have some fun!
