Re: New to the forum with my '70 C-10

It snowed over here, so for now this is the only pic I have of the toolbox. I'll take more pics later but in my garage it's kinda dark to take pics even with all of the light.

Re: New to the forum with my '70 C-10

Now I have to spend my winter fixing what's messed up...

I need to replace the driveshaft (2-piece)
The driver's side door doesn't lock once the door is closed
The stereo loses its memory once I shut off the truck (I'm pretty sure I can figure this out easily)

On top of that I need to finish up my other project car sitting behind it in the garage

Beautiful truck. I have the same problem with my '70's driver door. It'll lock with the weatherstrip off (both with knob and key) but with the weatherstrip in, regardless of how I adjust it, it won't lock. I'm going to get some help from a body an buddy on that one because its got me stumped.

Re: New to the forum with my '70 C-10

Beautiful looking truck and welcome. It sounds like you don't have too much to do to it. Although I've come to the realization that these trucks are like our homes… There is always some kind of project to do. Just when you think its done there's something else to do. Anyway, as long as you enjoy it that's what matters. Have fun with it.
