Re: apacherado
This guy liked it so well he posed with it, and there is a screen shot of Bing maps where you can see the truck parked out back.

Re: apacherado
I think we have established that it is not a photoshop. And in my opinion, after a year, we have established that it still doesn't look good. In my opinion anyway.

Re: apacherado
I once owned a 1980 f250 pickup truck that was modified into looking exactly like a 1992-1998 f350 dump truck. The hood ,grill and front fenders were swapped for the newer parts .
id be interested to see build pics of this truck. Looks like it's a 1999-2006 ext cab Silverado with the front nose of the '59-'59 , based on the shape of the mirrors, the tow hooks under the bumper , and the shape of the doors

Re: apacherado
I don't think it looks bad, although it feels incomplete. I've seen far worse. I'm simply curious about the build. If it's an individually built custom, it seems like the work is worth respect even if the final product is not completely attractive.

Re: apacherado
Like it or not someone put a lot of work into it to get everything to fit that well.
I like it that he used a really popular 59 color combination to carry it off rather than some custom color or wild paint job.

Re: apacherado
This one's worse.
http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...97844141604793 They ruined a perfectly good 68 grille. As far as the 2000 Silvo.... well.... I'll keep that to myself. |
