If only you were closer (how many times has THAT been written here?) I just bought a 68 that has a blown out TH400 that I need to replace.

Th400 is the best. I have burned out power glides, th350s, & 700r. I have yet to burn out a th400. Good luck on the sale.

From your pictures that looks to use a bolt on cast aluminum inspection cover. I was looking for one like that for 4x4 big block blazer. Finally found one here local in Michigan and paid $200 for a rebuildable core. Definetly worth your asking price. Good luck on your sale.
