Re: Orange patinia shop truck
Yep... the orginal color of the truck was red and when ever it was painted last they changed it to orange. I dont really know what color the exterior is, the 2 colors are a little off but I guess 10 to 15 years in paint can do that,

Re: Orange patinia shop truck
I really need to start taking more pictures. there hasn't really been anything exciting going on. I did get the engine about finished up. I tried something a little different. I wanted to go with a stockish look but at the same time you should know its not. The emblem I picked out was smaller than I thought but I think it still looks okay. what do you guys think?

Re: Orange patinia shop truck
Looks good. Hope to see the truck around sometime...either if I can catch you down in your area in my business travels or if you come up for a meeting around richmond...
What about just doing a black lid on a standard open element air cleaner....kind of in-between stock and custom...like your valve covers...

Re: Orange patinia shop truck
I think that would look pretty cool.
This was one I did recently...found this billet ball milled air cleaner on ebay with shipping scratches ($10 shipped) ...sanded the scratches out and painted it black.

Re: Orange patinia shop truck
Well I've made decent progress. managed to get the engine and trans in. interior is basically done. pretty much all I have left is put the windshield in, get it running and put the sheet metal back on it. I hope to have it going by next.
