ok so I got a PS Conversion kit from Ecklers. It did not come with the correct PS brackets, and of course there is no mention about the pulley set up from them either. I have the original 283 in my truck. So heres how we made it work. First we had to Dimple the frame to make the Steering box fit. Luckily, I found an offset two groove crank shaft pulley off a 71 from my local pick a part to get the PS pulley to line up. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/a...1&d=1390151485

The upper bracket we heated and bent into shape because it (like the lower that came from ecklers) interfered with the alternator belt. Now I'm rollin. Power steering ROCKS!!!! Thank you for your pics and help.
