Re: Burnouts
I was a junior in high school. I had a '69 Mustang convertible. My school had a circular drive for the busses that went right in front of the cafeteria. It was a spring day so the windows were open in the lunchroom. I got out of school around lunchtime because I had a job. When I was leaving, I pulled up in front of those windows and powerbraked it. I held it there for about 30 seconds when the slight breeze shifted and blew the smoke into the lunchroom. I ended up getting a 3 day vacation and lost my parking privilege for 1 week. Now that I'm 50 years old and have to buy my own tires, no more burnouts for me.

Re: Burnouts
I've done burnouts for 30 some years. Nothing better then smoke pouring off the tires! My group of friends tends to stop in front of each others houses and do burnouts. In the summer there's usually a bunch of tire marks in front of my house.
That's the way we grew up. All my car guy buddies do burnouts, and always have. We used to have burnout contests in front of the high school, and we saw the teachers watching. They never said a word, tho.
