Beautiful GMC and great assembly pics. Would love to see more! It looks like you had to use a Chevy filler panel behind the bumper between the bullets. I dang near had to also but found a '55 in a crusher yard with a complete grill assembly along with some other misc. parts I needed. My 100 is very opposite of your 150 though!-LOL!

Let's see more pics!---DAC

It really DOES look cool.

I'm a chrome whore though so I want to see that big "face" chromed out with chrome beauty rings and hubcaps.

Will you be installing hubcaps? I presume white ones? (Boo hiss, lol. I'm kidding. It'll look good!)

Still sorting out the hubcaps. The wheels are not stock, they are steel 16" 8 lug replacement wheels I found after searching for a close replacement on a few websites - I may have found the part number here on this site. The stock painted GMC caps are almost impossible to find - I don't even have a bad one to try and fit to the wheel (or figure out how to make them fit).

Re: 1955 gmc 150

Could you post some pics of the hood latch panel/upper mustache to fender mounting?

Thanks!

Hi I will take some more pics next time I am up there. I haven't been up there since I picked it up from the paint shop.

Re: 1955 gmc 150

Here are a few pics from last summer. My painter even loaded up some kids in it for the Heber-Overgaard 4th of July parade and advertised his business with it (I was out of state or I would have driven it). It even made the local newspaper up by my cabin where I keep it.

My old 1 BBL Zenith is acting up so I need to do something with the carburetor. I wouldn't mind upgrading if I could find something that would work with the stock oil bath air filter and intake manifold. Any suggestions?
