Re: Wanna get featured in Classic Trucks?

Here's an update on my trip. Apparently they (the company) expect me to show up at the office once in a while, so I'm going to make my Vegas trip from Feb 28 - March 3, and then drive home and sit at a desk.

Then as soon as I can sneak back out on the road I'm headed North. I've got everyone's contact info in Central and Nor Cal, I'll be in touch for setting up the photo shoots we've planned.

Thanks a lot you guys, I'm venturing into new ground as far as how magazines find truck features. I really appreciate the help!

It's not a show truck, just a very loved, surviving C10.

Only pic, crappy, from my cell...

I thought that was already in there. I thought I remembered an orange truck in there recently from CT and Chuck was the one that did the article?

Maybe I'm having a vision from the future?

Edit: I just looked it up, I was right about everything, but the truck was a '66

I see lots of stuff from the east in Classic Trucks. That's what I really like about it, because they seem to feature more east cost stuff than lots of the other mags. Having Chuck around here is a big plus

Yep, that truck is the next town over from me, and his shoot was 2 months before mine. That 66 is absolutely mint!

I read that Riz had "drafted" you back to CT. Glad to see you're back with the family.

Hey, its good to hear from you. Yeah, its great to be back on staff again. It was thanks to me constantly being around the office hustling freelance jobs, American Truck in particular when I got a job offer I couldn't refuse.

I think it was the air-conditioned tech center with a new fabricating shop full of Eastwood tools that clinched the deal for me.

Thank you!

John
