Re: Wanna get featured in Classic Trucks?
Here's an update on my trip. Apparently they (the company) expect me to show up at the office once in a while, so I'm going to make my Vegas trip from Feb 28 - March 3, and then drive home and sit at a desk.
Then as soon as I can sneak back out on the road I'm headed North. I've got everyone's contact info in Central and Nor Cal, I'll be in touch for setting up the photo shoots we've planned. Thanks a lot you guys, I'm venturing into new ground as far as how magazines find truck features. I really appreciate the help! John G. |

Maybe I'm having a vision from the future? Edit: I just looked it up, I was right about everything, but the truck was a '66

Re: Wanna get featured in Classic Trucks?
I see lots of stuff from the east in Classic Trucks. That's what I really like about it, because they seem to feature more east cost stuff than lots of the other mags. Having Chuck around here is a big plus

I read that Riz had "drafted" you back to CT. Glad to see you're back with the family.

I think it was the air-conditioned tech center with a new fabricating shop full of Eastwood tools that clinched the deal for me. Thank you! John |

Re: Wanna get featured in Classic Trucks?
John,
How about a 4x4 build in progress? My K5 Blazer body will be at a local Las Vegas Line-X dealer ( http://www.4thetruck.com ) during your time here. Its being covered inside and out! Has an 2005 Escalade 6.0L motor swap backed by a 4L80e with a NWFab twin sticked 205 running custom 2009 Dodge Ram 14" disc brakes and late model rear w/ disc brakes. Check the build thread in my signature. If its someting you would be interested in, you can reach me on my mobile 7O2 37 Eight - 161 Two |
