Re: 14 bolt rear disc brakes with eldorado calipers

i just got my new cucv dana 60. wow! i thought my 14 bolt as heavy. im investing in a some furniture dollies (thanks Special K and Dirty Larry!) its going to be a while before the 14 bolt and 60 are mounted, but getting ahold of theses was half the battle.

Re: 14 bolt rear disc brakes with eldorado calipers

Take a look at this link, I found it on pirate 4x4. This guy used the Eldorado calipers and made a nice bracket for the ebrake cables. I am thinking of going this route with my 14 bolt.

I think so too. The guy who did the thread said the brakes worked great. I wonder if he is still happy with the setup.

Re: 14 bolt rear disc brakes with eldorado calipers

I was told By Blackbird customs that if you do use the Eldorado calipers you have to constantly reset the parking brake or they get messed up somehow, i didn't go into detail with him on that.
