Thanks guys... I would take pictures inside the bed, but it is full of garbage. I also found the factory jack handle and tool bag. WES

Nice to see one that was probably saved from death by forklift in the local Pull-a-Part.

It is interesting that a Custom Camper package has such little mirrors.

Re: Teaser thread!!!!

It appears to have had tripod mirrors at one point, but no listing for camper mirrors, west coast jr. mirrors, or even below the eyeline mirrors. Little painted plugs in the doors that indicate that. The pin strip I believe has been touched up, but should be original. At least it is listed on the glove box sheet. WES

Re: Teaser thread!!!!

Now this is just my opinion, but please don't ruin that nice original truck with a spray in liner! I would leave it as is. Again, just me opinion though. That's a very nice find.

I agree, but to a point.
Its has been shown on this site that spray liners can be clor matched... if I were to go with a spray in on that truck, I would have it match the original color, all the durability, with none of the issues of ruining the look.

Re: Teaser thread!!!!

Thanks again guys. I have listed a price because this isn't a for sale post and I realy haven't decided wether I want to sell this one or my 67 GMC 3/4 ton. The Big Block side of me keeps pulling me toward keeping it. Just kind of been having fun tinkering with it. I don't like the rear bumper. It doesn't even have a place for a licence plate. So I have been watching for a step bumper to bolt to it that hasn't been painted. If I can't find one then I will mount a new chrome one on it. WES

Oh, and I also need 1 9.75 X 16.5 camper wheel for it. I have one already so I only need one more. A set of nice stainless hubcaps also. WES

Re: Teaser thread!!!!

Told ya I was having fun with it. I just tinkered the ugly sliding rear bumper off of it. I think the truck lost 400 pounds!! Anyone looking for a sliding rear bumper... Hahaha.... WES

Re: Teaser thread!!!!

My truck has the heavy factory original tread plate bumper, too. It weighs a ton! I had it sand blasted and powder coated silver. I hope it looks ok when I get the truck finished. I like that it is lower so it clears the trim plate on my tailgate when it's laid down.

Its all good, i noted your Facebook page where i thought you mentioned it was for sale so i asked. I'm hoping to pick up a C10 sometime but not another K20.

And a nice looking period correct bumper.
