special K, the one you posted is owned by Jim Brady ,owner of Supersport Sales and he has quite a few rare rides .I got to see that one in person at the Maryland Chevelle Show last year. He likes rare and odd ones like factory big block 4 speed chevelle wagons .He is even restoring a 4 door 72 chevelle that was special ordered with bid block and 4 speed ,the only one known to exist.

The only flaw with the artwork is that it wouldn't have a GM logo in 67. The divisions weren't corporate yet in 67, it would have a PMD (pontiac motor division) or just pontiac. ...

Actually, My Jimmy GT project has a subtle Pontiac flavor to it. This is the Photoshop I did of what I'm planning for the nose:

Guys ,if you ever run across a GMC Sprint grill emblem for cheap grab it ,they are not reproduced and they are worth quite a bit . Reason I know this is a friend of mine has a 72 Sprint and his is missing that emblem and he was not willing to pay the price for a NOS one .

Are you talking about the G-M-C letters for the Sprint? The fender and tail emblems are reproduced from Trim Parts. The S-P emblems on the other hand are worth a fortune (the GMC version of an SS).

In the late 50's GMC used Pontiac 347 and 336 CI engines, as well as some smaller CI Pontiac engines earlier. So at least back then, there were Pontiac pickups, sort of

Keith I recently saw a pic of that truck and was sure it was a photoshop. I guess not.
I think just because someone can doesn't necessarily mean they should. To me, that gto front better belongs on a mid 60's truck than a late 70s to 80s.
I do appreciate the passion for the mark and the work to make it so.

I keep tossing the idea of a Pontiac motor in my '67 GMC around. I'd like to get a hold of one to build.

How many do you want? I have 5-455 engines and a couple of 400s.
Shipping would be the killer.

Thanks for the offer. I'm overdue for some traveling, but don't see it this year. I know where some 66/67 big cars are with 389s, but I'd want to rebuild one of those after sitting. But one is a 3spd console shift, so there's what I need for the M22. I'd take any size since you can't tell by looking and even a 350 makes good torque. Pontiac engines are great for trucks! Since the 327 kinda crept in during '67, most '67 GMCs were 6cyls. I figure a Pontiac swap would be a cool era-correct mod.
