The answer to both questions is NO.
You would do well to spend a lot time studying up on the various years and options. There are many faked trucks out there, some good some outright jokes.
Remember 71 Supers were late (April 71) introduction and differed in some details from the 72.
If you want to learn about SPIDs go through the thread in my signature. Being able to "read" a SPID is the first step in getting a true Cheyenne Super.

With the salt were putting on the roads in Maine you would not believe the difference in a truck from down south. I've seen 4year old trucks with junk frames on them from the salt. I'm so used to it that when I see a truck from the south I'm amazed how good the frame looks!! I've seen 20 year od trucks from down south with better frames than a 3 year old truck from up here!
