Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Thanks guys! No progress today since my control arms didn't come in. Was told by pro performance that my arms would be here today and now porterbuilt wont Even be shipping then until Tuesday. Just aggrevating since its been over a month since I ordered them.

I agree porterbuilt takes there time but trust me it is well worth the wait...just wait until you see them they are perfection in a box!

I wish my kids had the maturity you did at 14. You got my respect. Also you've got great taste in the way you are doing this build... Colors, stance etc. Very, very nice.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Thanks Tom! I think It was just good parenting by my parents and the fact that if I wanted a truck I would have to work to get it.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Got my narrowed control arms from PB tonight. they look so good! !! My awesome Mom came out to the shop and helped me get them painted, assembled, and installed. Unfortunately I didn't snap any pics besides just the upper arms which is weird, but I will get some more later.

When your truck is in pieces, there's a lot of cursing, that you hope one day will turn into cruising!

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
My hat's off to you, I bought my 71 at 14. With my own money, I'm 45+ now lol. I'm sure your parents are proud and I'm glad to see you still have the truck and are getting it done. I'll hop onboard for the ride to see how she turns out, loving what I see so far.

Re: Bagged '72 10 Yrs in the Making
Ok guys i finally found my log in info and im back on. My truck is about 95% done. I have to finish raising the bed floor, put the hood on, adjust the bumpers a little, finish the brake lines, and buy my driveshafts. Im trying to finish it before the cold sets in so i can actually get to enjoy it. Thanks for all the support everyone. These pictures are of it after i took it took the body shop for a few nicks i put in it here and there and for a good buffing.
