I am not going to get into another one of those situations where someone isn't sure who gets what where. When I sell on the boards it is always the first I'll take it. So just sell it to Mike. WES

Sorry my response was slow I was at the movies when you posted the price. Let me know when you get the shipping quote and I'll get you paid.

Wes,
I hate these situations too.
I would have taken it if the price was posted in the original post! Which is why you reminded him he needed prices. When he posted the price I was in the movies and didn't have my phone. I can step aside...
You did technically say you'd take it first. That's the rules!

Josiah Thanks for trying to help out but the one he has pictured is not correct either. The one I am looking for is more like formed flat stock instead of a round bar. Please see the attach photos. Again thxs Josiah.

Question Re: Parting Out 1972 C10 Custom Deluxe

Mike, Thank you for the thought. It's realy no big deal to me. Just go ahead and take it. You expressed interest first. If you changed you mind about wanting it, I would take it. No worries on my part. Where my frustration comes from is probably more from a sellers standpoint. I as a seller list something for sale. Someone immediately responds I am "interested" to be the first in line. Then if all the plannets align correctly, the shipping isn't more than he wants to pay, and the wife doesn't cut him off for spending money then he comes back and claims the part. However if one of the plannets is slightly out of allignment, the shipping makes the total cost of the part more than he is willing to pay, or his wife says no, then he says sorry pass it along to the next in line. Then you consider you have 10 more guys posting i'm "interested" in the same part and when it gets to each of their turns they have to wait for the same set of circumstances to work for them or they have to pass. Meanwhile the seller waits and hopes that someone's plannets align, shipping doesn't add too much to the cost, or his wife gives her blessing so he can sell his part. Now all the sudden it's 2 weaks later, everybody passes after saying i'm interested and the seller is left holding the part while the seriouse buyer has moved on.
This is why I'll take it is important. Shipping is what it is, the plannets are where they are, and well the wife thing just isn't the sellers problem. He just want to sell his part as soon as possible so he can pay his bills, or maybe by a different part he wants for his project.
I was just as guilty of my own pet peave in this post because the seller didn't post the price. I didn't say I'll buy it if the price is right and then wait on the sellers responce to seal or not seal the deal. It is also why once I saw the price, I jumped right in with I'll take it. WES

Ok, thanks for understanding Wes. This is my first "for sale" thread, so I'm still learning the rules.

jpmanyhearts: The floor pans are pretty trashed. I'll get you pictures in the morning.

Fatherof3: I'd sell you the top thin pieces, fender, door, cab corner, bed side. Also, large black lower pieces, fender, door, cab corner, bed side. I'd throw in the Custom Deluxe/ 10 emblems if you wanted 'em. I'd even give you the door edge guards. I'll take pictures in the morning.
Do you have any trim for the tailgate and taillights or for the front window or rear window?
Won't need to ship as l can pick up.
Thanks

No problem. The rules are listed in a sticky that Josh posted at the top of each parts forum. WES

jpmanyhearts: Here are the floor pans. The outer 1/3 is rusted out, the inner 2/3 and tranny hump are solid. The pillars are rusted, corners gone. Got a really nice A/C firewall. Roof is pretty good, drip rail intact.

Anything on the front is gone. I had a guy buy the whole front end locally yesterday.

Sorry about that.

Re: Parting Out 1972 C10 Custom Deluxe

Fatherof3: Here are pictures of the trim pieces. I have the taillight trim, but one is bent up. On the upper longbed pieces, one is kinked, and the other is a little twisted at the end. The paint on all of them needs touching up.

I don't have tailgate trim or window trim.

But for the stuff I do have, I'd go $50 for all the trim, if you're interested.

PICKMUP: I checked the differential. Not a posi. I'm still not sure what ratio. But, I have a code off the tube, RHA W087 1.
