If anyone is in the Columbus area, I know the way and I'll be leaving the west side at about 10 in the AM or so. (I want to be there a little early) If anyone wants to follow me we can meet at the Jegs on west broad and I-270 (exit #7 and west less than a block) at about 9:45 or so.

Either way will bring some parts for trading, sale or planting!! Anyone need a fabulous 3/4 ton restored frame (leaf) with dana60 posi????

ok- so i went a little crazy, and started organizing things, and came up with a list of people - compiled from both this thread and the sticky thread. call me a neat freak, an organizational freak or whatever you want, but it was drivin me a little nuts. so here it is, all organized and everything: (oh - do you think it was too early to do this? should I have waited until friday?)

by fine69 Ok. It can be an indoor/outdoor thing. I have a large yard. As well as two large buildings. So if it rains we can do stuff in the shops. I have lots of equipment. Welders, torches, plazma cutters. As well as tons of hand tools and body tools. Longhornmail can attest to that fact as he has been here multiple times.
Bring your power steering setup and we WILL get it installed. As far as what we will need(food, utensils)just bring a few extra bucks with you. I have grocery stores only a couple miles away as well as a Wal-Mart. No need to buy what we really dont need. We can all chip in before we dig in. Save us all money that way.
If anyone has parts laying around that they need installed bring them with you. I am sure there will be plenty of experienced help. Please email me any questions. I will have the previous Friday off from work. So its a 3 day weekend for me. I will be bringing some parts trucks to dismantle for fun. Camping on my property is permitted. Bring your own beer as i dont drink. But you are welcome to drink here, long as you dont want to drive afterwords.
and to add my own $.02, let's please be very VERY considerate. this is a lot of people gathering at fine69's place, so please be gracious. try not to break any tools, and try not to abuse any priviledges. dont get drunk, and wreck the whole shindig. dont tramp mud into the house. dont 'break the heirloom figurine on the fireplace mantle', if you know what i mean. i am personally gonna offer fine69 some money upfront, as soon as i arrive, because he is going to the trouble of allowing us to gather at his place. we are a big group, and we will eat plenty of food, right? it is the least we can do. so, in preparation for this weekend, i would like to offer a really big BIG HUGE THANK YOU! to our host (and hostess), fine69!

see you all there!
ciao!

Stupid job- I don't think it will stop me, though. Where there is a will, there is a way.

fine69- I will definitely be putting your # in my phone before the 360+ mile drive there. I'm doubt the and me will need it, though.

Hey. Thanks for all the support for our get together. I have been asked by several of those coming about their giving donations.
I have decided that i will be accepting donations. As it will be costing me a little of my own money. HOWEVER, It is not a requirement that you give. I will put a covered jar out and you may put money into it IF YOU WISH. If you cant, who cares. Or dont want too, i dont care. Several members have made it clear that they would not feel comfortable unless they give something.
I DO realize though that not all of us have tons of extra cash. So if you can come, but cant give, PLEASE come and enjoy yourself. DONT feel that it is a necessity.
I am not worried about breaking tools, and i drive in my yard daily. I have several trucks to part out and hack up. And most of those parts i will be giving away. So if you want to donate for parts you may also do that.
But my goal for this shindig is to have fun, shoot the bull, learn and teach something as well.
Also, i just got a sweeeeeet new sandblasting helmet. So you people can blast some stuff if you want. hehe fun.
