While looking for alternative place for gas filler I actually found others on this website and on the show 'Trucks" that made this mod. I did not want to lower tailgate to fill gas.

Thanks, I will do some more research. I was hoping you had documented what hinge you used and how you mounted it. I saw that trucks episode I think. What type of filler cap are you using? Did you modify your bed to run the tube down to the tank? thanks

yes it is hard to tell in the shop. it is a deep orange. much different than the hugger orange others have used. I will definitely get some nice photos in the sun when finished.

I would have to do some research also but I am pretty sure we did it exactly how they did it on the "trucks" episode.
the filler is a capless one recommended on the show.
the bed is modified a bit. I will snap a photo soon.

looks really nice there man. on the wood bed floor at the end of the bed, is the end boards covered with the back. could you post a picture of the rear bed floor. I am getting ready to install my soon. getting stuff and ideas ready. George
