Well my cast is off. I still need some physical therapy but I think I will be working on the truck this Saturday.

That is good to hear. I've had a cast only once, but I still remember how good that felt to get it off and get some fresh air to the skin.

First day back working on my truck in two months. I installed my recently ceramic coted headers and ground down and reathreaded the rod that goes to my power break booster so that I can youse it with my new bracket. Pictures to come.

Some color ideas. The gray truck would have a chrome Grill.

Not to sound arrogant, selfish or mean but before anyone asks I don't have time to do a rendering of there truck right now.

Big Day!! I started the truck up for the first in almost a year. I didn't run it long enough to worm up because it only has headers and I live in the city. It is running great. I also installed my power break booster and master cylinder on my new bracket.

Another big milestone today. After almost a year the front tires are back on the ground. I can almost feel my wallet getting lighter as I get closer to sending her off for body work and paint. I would have taken the tarp off for the photo but it was beginning to sprinkle.

Looking good forest. She'll be finished in no time. I like your engine and was curious about what kind of headers your running and if you had any clearance issues. It looks like you have plenty of room.

Thanks. They're hooker headers. I wish I could remember the part number but I bought them so long ago that I don't even have the receipt. They fit really well for long tube headers and barely fit when I had torsion bar suspension. All I can remember when I bought them was asking for headers for a 62 c10 with a 350 and this is what they gave me.

I don't know about you but I am getting excited. I can almost taste the paint. Ow wait that might not be a good thing. It almost makes me want to strap a body onto the front and a drummer in the back and drive through a dust storm. Of course I would need to shave my head and spray some silver spray paint in my mouth.

Getting closer. I have removed everything that needs to be removed before it goes off to get the body work done except removing the front window. I also have to figure out my door jamb whire looms. Tried to mock up an ac unit that I bought of someone I knew who was selling it for $50. He told me it would fit but I doughted it and I am sorry to say that I was right.

First orange then red then light buck skin and then? I removed the front window today without cracking it. I also tried to install a set of door jamb wire looms that I bought and they do not really work. There is to much inner structure in a 62 door. I might have to end up using the rubber kind instead of the braded steal kind.

The big brown truck came today and brought the coolest thing a someone could get for his truck.

I took appart my old ac and installed part of my new one. I think I like it more with the aluminum radeator covered up. I also found what looks like a signature on one of the kick panel vent flaps. I wonder if it was the PO or a rebellions chevy employee. It looks like factoree paint over it so I am thinking rebellions employee.

I finally got around to installing my new over flow tank for my radeator. Had to make a custom bracket out of aluminum stock. I am not sure if I like how high it is I might lower it. What do you all think?

I took the rear fenders off. I can understand why people try to make hot rods out of these trucks. You remove the fenders and it inspires you. There was a black widow living inside the fender lip right next to where my head was inside the fender. I did not see it until I had the fender off and tried to squish it's nest. It and a bunch of it's babies cralled out so I sprayed them with poison. I made sure to spray the other fender before I tried to take it off. Thank God I was not bit.

Removed my trailing arms in order to install new bushings. I was thinking of removing the rear end also to clean it up and paint it but I figured since I am not cleaning up the frame I will only clean up and paint the trailing arms. If I ever get the rearend readuilt I will clean it up. I have never heard of a rearend rusting through and it is not going to be seen.
