Re: cst or not...its the one

I got my 72 non-CST based on price and condition. It's a PS/PB/AC/Auto truck optioned out really well. The PS and PB with Auto were requirements. AC was just icing. The deal breaker would have been rust. Since it was pretty clean in that regard and just needed mechanical attention, it was a pretty easy decision. With the prices going up like crazy in the last year or so on these things, it's worth about double what I have in it, not that I'd sell it anyway.

Re: cst or not...its the one

CST or not the only way a CST is going to be more valuable than a base model is when comparing original trucks in their stock form/restored original. Lots of them aren't stock anymore therefore price doesn't change as much to most when sellinh/buying. I buy whatever isn't rusted out, doesn't have to be highly optioned for me and I rarely see the price difference out here that others see elsewhere.

Re: cst or not...its the one

I am a fan of factory original rebuilds including that specific vehicles original options, so to me a CST blazer is worth more than a comparable non CST blazer. My personal must have options are V8 engine and A/C. Any other options are just bonuses to me.
