Thanks everyone for the condolences and the the kind words of encouragement. This project has been long over due, I really wish I would have started it before he passed, it would have been great to have him there helping out with what he could. But it is what it is and I know he is there with me in spirit watching it all!

Well not much this weekend, had to go to Dallas for my niece's graduation so decided to serf C-list for some deals. Managed to find a good deal on 2wd 4L70E trans complete with torque converter, controller and flexplate. 30k miles on the setup all for $300.
