He owns the images from 45 years ago? Um no. He supposedly did reclaim and now owns the hickey brand and corporation name etc. That does not give him total control of all printed items from before that company was dissolved back in the day. If the company was in business up until the point that he paid a few grand to buy the name... maybe he would have a case. I'm sure he could try to claim copyright but good luck with that $$$$ battle.


If he said that to me I would have contacted him with a very colorful response.

I did from a member in Alabama. A whole crate of stuff. I think some of it isn't Chevy tho. Likely jeep. Rear tire holders with a bestop sticker. I got a really cool skid plate identical to hickey but made by stroppe. That's what I meant by inbreeding in catalogs.
