As far as the converter the way to go is a real dyno sheet for the builder. On the powerglide go for the pump that takes a 400 converter.

Yes I'll be going with a turbo input and likely a turbo 400 output, have to talk to the shop that built my T350 next week about how much $$$$$ to build one, SFI case the works.
