Will do, I'll be at the Longmont cruise night this Sat, you planning on going?
I didn't realize there was one, I've been so busy lately. Family is heading out of town and I'm solo so yes, I'll be there. I'll look for you, I'd love to pick your brain on a few things and check out your ride.

Re: Got the 67 out yesterday

What 5spd re you running? My truck is taking so long I'm seriously considering changing course and deviate slightly from the era-built vibe (although hidden). The M22 numbers go to a '65 GTO. Could be a Tempest or Lemans, but in '65 I'm thinking GTO. Either way,it's the correct tranny for a '65 GTO restoration. I could get good money for that and the big plan was to later fit a Gear Vendors up. That would be my ultimate coolass set-up,but look at the money (I have to do that these days) for that set-up. I want to bop around in the truck, but mostly want to do some long hauls. I could save my Gear Vendors money, make a '65 GTO owner happy, and come out money ahead after swapping a 5spd like a T5. Or,I I could have a good bit towards a Richmond unit. Still way cheaper than going Gear Vendors (after putting the M22 money towards it).

I'll keep an eye out for you, I'll be with my buddy who'll be driving his 68 swb that's like a seafoam green color, along with my truck.

I'm running a T-5 from a S-10. The shifter location is good and my 6 doesn't make enough power to break it. I know you can put a S-10 tail housing on a Camaro T-5, so the shifter isn't too far back, but then you're rounding up two transmissions.

What time does it start? Also, last time I went I parked in the lot where the goodwill and save-a-lot is located. I'll be there or parked somewhere else along Main at some point.

If you can pry the blue buckets from Mikes clutches I'll bring mine to you!

Malamute, I think the cruise starts around 6 or so.

Re: Got the 67 out yesterday

powell72, I made two passes and parked on the north side for a bit. I saw you heading south when I was coming north but never did see you again. We should try to get a local M&G this fall in Loveland or Longmont.

Quite a few trucks out last night, that orange and white 4x4 was very nice.

Re: Got the 67 out yesterday

Man, very clean!!!
Finding a 67-72 w/ original rockers like that, is very rare!!!

Where did you get your wheels?

I like the wheels. To me they don't look right on every vehicle, but are great for your ride. I hadn't considered them for a pickup, though.

Those wheels were one of the very few choices back in the 60's, still cool to me!!!

I wonder if anyone makes some simple center cap for them.

I was looking for you, definitely a lot of vehicles out, considering the weather, I'm down for a meet and greet whenever. PM me when you have time and we'll try to meet up sometime.

Thank you. They're from Wheel Vintiques, they sell center caps for them, I personally like my chrome reverses sans caps, I'm still looking for spider caps that will fit our trucks big wheel bearing hats.
