Sounds relatively stock. It's just an old-style mild-steel exhaust. If you park outside or drive in the winter it will rust-up right quick. If you park inside and want a relatively cheap exhaust that fits a stock truck OK, then it's not bad.

rust? its galvanized so the welds are the only thing that should rust

I’m the OP here. So this has been on my truck several years now and it hasn’t rusted at all. My truck sits outside it’s whole life. Never driven in the winter.
