Re: heater won't work
The fuse is for the controls, not the blower.

Re: heater won't work
According to the diagram, you are correct for heat only. I never worked on a heat only, this is Florida.

Re: heater won't work
Some trucks have the fan on all the time bypassing the switch too.
So no off just low flow, maybe that's off somewhere, I clip mine at the switch.

Re: heater won't work
so i just went and pulled the whole harness off another truck at the junkyard, my question is the biggest wire looks like about 6 gauge or so pretty big anyways, where does that hook up to? it wasn't hooked up on the other truck, looked like it went down to the starter...everything else should hook right up for the most part

Re: heater won't work
The starter is also a junction point.

Re: heater won't work
Dude, you didn't even give a wire color. "The big one" isn't descriptive enough. I posted a wiring diagram. If it's the fusible link, the feed, then it goes to a junction point. Starter or junction block, doesn't matter which one.

Re: heater won't work
Yes, the big red one goes to a junction. You could even put it on the battery. Wherever looks cleanest.
