I have to look at my center sections and see how many are show worthy, I am running out of buttons with show quality centers.

Re: 1967-68 CST horn button (show quality)

Harold I sold the last GMC one that I had the other day. I am looking for some good center pieces. GMC or Chevrolet. The few that I have left are not nice enough to put in these rings.

Yes I do have some nice ones. I will have to go through them this week. We have been out of town for the holidays while the kids were out of school. All I will have at the moment will be Chevrolet buttons.

Thanks PT

I have a nice center, how much would you charge to restore the ring?

Chuck do you have the center and the part with the tabs. These things will come apart in three sections. I just need to know what you have before I can give you a price and do you want to send your ring as a core or get one out right.

Thanks, PT

Its complete still on the truck, The center is really nice, I just need the ring re-plated, if you have one already to go I will send you mine as a core.

How easy do they come apart?

Re: 1967-68 CST horn button (show quality)

Chuck I do have some getting done now. I had them done and went to pick them up and they had a couple of bubbles in them and I had the place redo them. For what I am paying for the plating the they should be show and these were not. They are not as easy as you would think. You have to be very patient or you will break the plastic part that has the tabs on it. It would be best if you wanted to send it to me and I can polish the center piece before I put it all back together. I will pm you a price and you can let me know what you want to do.

Re: 1967-68 CST horn button (show quality)

I am in the process of trying to find another chrome shop so it may be a little bit before I can do anymore. The shop I was using started out doing super nice show quality work and with a quick turnaround but the last few that I sent them it took forever and had to have two of them redone so with that said I like my stuff done right the first time and with the quality I was promised.

Thanks, PT
