Because the one that is listed for the 68-86 is half the price.

Does anyone have a source for a cheaper one?

You'd just need to cut part of the solid shaft out and add the collapsible portion.

JMO, but you could probably just pick up a good used one from someone adding a PS setup for very little. I bought a really nice one for $20 a while back.
