Re: Parting out 1971 GMC Sierra Grande Longhorn

Michael, the engine and trans are great. I bought the truck for the drivetrain to put in my 'burb but I'm thinking of puting a 700r4 behind the 292 and leaving it alone. I have several other big blocks and trannies. I'll be at my shop tomorrow if you want to see it, Wednesday I'm headed to CO. to pick up my ramp truck. The rest of the week I'll be here.

Re: Parting out 1971 GMC Sierra Grande Longhorn

How's the toolbox door on the bedside? Also, the brass carpet retainers on the back wall of the cab for the carpet for the bucket seats. If you cut up the cab, i would like to be in line for the bucket seat brace under the hump. Trevor

If it gets to me, would like a price on the tilt column and brass retainers for the carpet on the back of the cab. Are the bucket seats long gone? LMK, on all items, thanks Dave.

Re: Parting out 1971 GMC Sierra Grande Longhorn

Critterman: I may have the fuel line off of the truck I parted out a few weeks ago, I'll look. I may have the heat stove, again I'll check. I have the right exhaust manifold but some of the studs are broken, steering wheel is sold and it had camper mirrors on it.

1972Jimmy: The pulleys and fan are off of the other bb truck I parted out, p/s but no a/c. The GMC has to stay running a few more days then the a/c pulleys will be up for grabs.
