During this time period RPO Z49 would drive the equipment (extra gas and antifreeze) and literature (Owner manual and warranty information) required for Canadian use.

During the squarebody era it would expand to include the kilo speedo, Canadian daytime running lamps and any unique engine emissions requirements (and in the early 2000's the French language in equal prominence to English).

I can't find it now, but a minute ago when I was looking through the literature I found (..I thought for 1972) a "Kold Klimate Package", RPO K53 I think, which featured a HD heater and additional anti freeze.

I mention it here to Komment on the Klever naming Konvention....
