Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Truck is looking awesome. Love the color combo! Did you use a kit for the AC or did you just put it together yourself?

Using a mix of parts from old air products and factory 90's to 00's Chevy parts.

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
It been awhile and progress has been slow. Started wiring, fuse block, instruments, and heater/ac controls in. Apologize for the quality of the pictures will have to get some better ones for you all.

Clearer interior pictures. Trying to make small amounts of progress every day.

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Finished all wiring except for the front clip. Working at getting the interior done.
Ordered windshield for last Friday and it arrived with a scratch so I have another new one coming this week. |

Are those seats from a ford? Nice work also. Been lurking at your build for a while

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Not Ford although that would not have stopped me. They are actually out of a 2004 Silverado. I wanted the built in shoulder belts and a fold down center console. Would have fit and did run them with no modifications before I tore the truck down. I did slightly modify the mounts on the center console when I reinstalled them.

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Thanks for the positive comments I keep thinking if I would have known it was going to turn out this nice I would have done this and that different. Added a Retrosound radio with USB and AUX inputs which I mounted in my center console.

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Well as you might have noticed from the other trucks in the pictures I am a bit of a Dodge guy so I used Dodge colors. The body is Mango Tango PVG/HVG, the top, interior, grille surround and what will be between the trim on the sides is Billet Metallic PSC/JSC, the Dash is Bright silver Metallic PS2/WS2 but it was shot with a satin clear coat (hopefully less glare).

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Got the motor fired with the new harness, now off to chase gremlins. Have a few electrical issues, I am betting on grounds we will find out. My daughter posted a video on facebook, this should link you to it.

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Thank you for the compliments. As to the clock, sadly I do not remember right now, but I am pretty sure it was a 195_ something Chevy car (Bel Air?).

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Although he is not quite done. Still have a little more paint, a few final details, and chase done some small issues. It brings me great pleasure after 2 years 3 months and 9 days to introduce Jack to you. My kids named him, I vetoed their first choice of "the great pumpkin".

Re: 65 K-10 not quite orginal
Bed floor installed today. Hard maple from a tree I cut down, planed, and finished myself. Dual 3" pipes went in yesterday, fully welded very pleased with the sound.
