Re: Finally Got a Patina Truck

Looks good. How bad is the floor & windshield frame/roof rust? Those will determine the price for sure if looking to sell it. The roof/windshield frame can be a pain in the ass repair so that's a big issue, but the rest is easy enough to fix usually lol One of my '68's was that green colour. Such a cool colour for these trucks!

I like it! I don't understand your reasoning though. If you like it, and you don't need $$, keep it and leave the for sale sign at home. If you don't like it, punt it and move on. Either way, someone will have a nice project.

Nice! I'd keep it. Good choice on loosing those elephant ears.... Looks like you almost have one for every day of the week

Its actually a fairly solid truck. It has rust in a few spots but the floor and cab corners are decent. It has some above the windshield, the front lip of the hood, and a few spots on the bed. The inner rockers are solid and original, I put new rockers on it, and the kick panels and floor boards are all perfect. Its definitely repairable if someone wanted to build a show truck out of the body but I figured leave it all for the sake of the patina

Haha thanks, yea the mirrors didn't even have glass in them so Im gonna leave them in the bed and leave them as an option if someone likes them and wants to get them re-glassed but I personally like it without them. A few of those are my dads and his friends but the small back window 67 is mine

I actually bought this truck to flip, I needed a little extra cash and bought it for a decent price. I ended up dragging a 67 swb home this past weekend tho that I bought for even less so I'm kinda hoping someone buys the 67 and evens out my expenses on this truck. Or if I sell both I'm gonna find another patina truck and build it up for a daily. Here is the 67 I got, I am the second owner of the truck and the light blue is what I found underneath the red oxide primer. I think it has a pretty cool look
