Thanks for all the good info. The Arizona stepper sold to someone else, so the search continues. Will pay special attention to the pre '75 stepsides in SoCal and get the best one I can afford.

Just a warning anything pre 75 is getting extra money just for that fact. Also pre 75 vehicles are getting scarcer around the state. Ask me how I know.

Still quite a few here in the Central Valley, stay away from the big cities and search the smaller towns
