Re: daily drivers

Mine's my avatar, Drive it sometimes seven days a week.
Don't drive it if i can help it during the ice and snow here in the atlanta,ga. area.
That would be just asking for some of the IDIOTS around to kill it.

Oh man! I love the DD thing, and that's what I'm doing with my 70. But after seeing all these... I'M NOT WORTHY!!

Oh well, here it is anyway. Doing what it does best. It needs some stock steelies, but man I just can't find them.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Looked for more. Not as many as I thought. It's a 402/400/AC/Sport. Interior is almost back together after a strip-and-clean and some Lizard Skin coating. Trying a newer/smaller GMC wheel which works well but loses that 1970 look. And... have you ever seen a cat that likes to ride in a truck? Now you have...

It's a 4-6 drop. 2" drop spindles, 2" springs up front with 4" springs in the rear with 2" drop blocks

hamjet, I'm surprised some '58-'61 car/ElCamino guy hasn't made you an offer you SHOULDN'T refuse for your 3x2 348 motor. A friend of mine just paid good $$$ for a BATMOTOR for a nice '59 4spd ElCamino that had a zz4 in it.

here's my '71 GMC doing pretty much what it does every day

Rusty that's cool blue right there. GM truck medium blue?
I am working on the same stance and wheel/tire package for my 69 right now. Some day maybe I can squirt some med blue on it too.
