Johnny if you paint in between your fins it is really going to wake up your engine compartment and make it pop!

Got some paint on the last cover last night. Will update pics once they are installed this weekend. Need to pull distributor to prime the new block, so will swap covers and get a good verification we are back at TDC.

here are the valve cover "covers" for my 5.3 LS. they are edelbrock 348/409 covers that I will make work with my 5.3 to cover the ugly coils... I painted them gloss black along with the supercharger and polished the fins. Still need to finish the supercharger and other valve cover.

Forgot to update the post with the covers finally installed. Engine bay assembly complete and all parts on. Will have to add an electric choke, but glad this phase of the build is done.

Even though it'd never be seen....I wish someone made a finned oil pan for the bbc. I see them for sbc, but haven't seen one for a big block yet.

They do make the BBC aluminum finned oil pans now, I believe CFR PERFORMANCE makes them
