I should have taken close ups of the mickey mouse wire job on the GMC when i got it.
I'm talking K-mart speaker wire powering the coil...5 crimp on butt connectors in a 6 inch section of wire, bare wires (main power wire that used to run the aftermarket AMP guage) twisted together and tucked under the carpet...with NO TAPE! (this wire was run from the battery, OVER TEH ENGINE to the guage, then back over the engine. It was actual;ly pinched in the throttle rod when i first hooked up the battery!)
It's a simple job as long as you take your time.

I see you have the harness for the lighted cigar lighter...cool.

That reminds me some one said that if it was changed from the coil to HEI. That I should rewire the HEI with another wire. What gauge wire should I use ? Thanks Again ! Landon

Does anyone elses look like that under ther dash
Mine looks just about as bad . The wires for my rear a/c look like bunch of noodles all spliced together. The relay for the rear a/c was causing my battery to drain, so it's all unplugged right now.
