And while both the front and back bumpers looked ok ...... why not have them painted to match? I had thought about it but when my brother suggested it I knew it was confirmation that it had to be done!

I had ordered a set of gauges from an old 6.2 diesel so I could change my fuel gauge to read "diesel fuel only" and so I could have an 80psi oil pressure gauge. I was also able to clean out all the lenses and check the bulbs.

Redid the brakes and changed the rear wheel brake cylinders.



Changed the diff fluid.



And dropped both tanks(What a PITA!) in order to change both sending units!

Decided to do a billet style grill



And steel wooled the headlight bezels.





Results were amazing!

I freshened up the tail gate filler panel too cause the chrome around GMC looked bad and the red inside the letters was faded.





It's not paint but it will do for now.
