I will look tomorrow. It has a hitch so there may have been some splicing. I think I have some others from a Chevrolet, will that work for you as well? It would be 15 plus shipping.

Are all four of the rear bumper brackets there and in good shape?

How about the cigarette lighter harness to go along with the lighter? What shape is it in?

No harness on these trucks. Wire was integrated into the main harness. All you have to do is run a hot wire to the lighter with an inline fuse.

I guess wiring harness was the wrong term. I mean the wire with the plugs on either end like in the following pic.

Re: Parting out a 3/4 ton 1970 GMC super

Nope. That was just a pic I found in the forum that had a pic of the wire. I have a couple that I've bought through the forum. None were as nice as I had hoped going by the pictures though and I think only one of them came with the wire so it would be nice to have an extra wire.

Interested in steering column and auto shift linkage. I can provide prepaid UPS shipping label if you have a UPS dropoff location near you or if they pick up at your work.

Re: Parting out a 3/4 ton 1970 GMC super

Could you measure the distance between the mounting holes on the mirrors? I just want to make sure these are the same mirrors that are on my 72 gmc. My passenger mirror broke which is why I want to confirm. Thanks

I have everything for it except the frame pivot piece and the forks on the transmission. They were sold locally. I will take 125 plus the ride. I usually get 150 for just the columns locally but will deal a little on the board. I can ship it through my wife's work if you want to do the prepay deal. LMK asap as I do have a couple locals interested. Thanks.

Re: Parting out a 3/4 ton 1970 GMC super

Update for everyone. I cut the heck out of the truck today. An artist wanted the back of the cab and the back of the bed to make some sort of bed head and foot board.

We cut out the ac dash and the opening for the side tool box in the bed. The tool box door and box was sold. I am wondering if anyone needs the actual side of the bed that is stamped for the tool box door and hinges.

I do have the sides of the bed that is now 14 inches shorter in the rear. If anyone needs any quick cuts on bed sides let me know before Monday as they are going to the scrap yard. I have the front panel for the bed as well.

The floor of the cab is solid as is the firewall. We are cutting up the rest of the cab tomorrow so if you need anything please let me know tonight before we cut in the morning. Sorry for the short notice!

Thanks!
