If you're thinking of changing your wheels and running those on the back eventually maybe run a 1/2 or 3/4 " wheel spacer for a few months or so until you go 5 lug (72 rear) ? Just a thought.

Just make sure you have enough length on the wheel studs to accommodate that extra spacer and still have plenty of threads.
If it looks dangerous maybe try a combination of a little grinding and a smaller spacer? What brand of ball joints did you use? Does the year of your spindles match up with the year of your ball joints?

The Ball joints are NAPA Premium joints for 1971 Chevrolet, the Spindles are McCaughys 71-72 Spindles. My cross,ember under the truck is a 71
