Re: Should have "Classic Heartbeat's" exclusive 67-70 Gas Filler Grommet prototypes s

Good news. A related question... I have a 71, can I put on the grommet while the tank and filler neck are still in place? Or does it have to get put in when the filler spout is out? Thanks.

Our 67-70 2" grommets are only a couple more weeks out! Producing these has been a royal pain but I believe they will be well worth the wait. Especially if they look and feel just like our prototypes. Remember Lifetime Warrantee!! Just a little while longer guys!! WES

Is there a link for the ones that fit the 72 model? I couldn't find it on the website.

I bought one for my 72 C10 in Sept 2018 and tried to install it today as my tank has been removed from the truck and want to put a dummy filler in its place and checked the website website and it says 67-70 truck and 69-72 Blazer so does that mean these aren't designed for the 71-72 Pickup ?

I would choose by size and not by year. My '71 w/ EEC is 2.0 inches.

What I mean is that the grommet wont go in the hole in the truck and from what I understand all the truck holes are the same size.
